AidsWalk – The region’s largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser benefiting local AIDS service organizations.
Show Me Pride – Gives direct community support by sponsoring and exhibiting at a wide variety of events that are a primary means of fundraising for many community organizations.
Kansas City Free Health Clinic – Just as it was formed to do in 1971, the Kansas City Free Health Clinic exists to promote health and wellness by providing quality health care services, at no charge, to people without access to basic care. Today the clinic provides basic health care services in general medicine, HIV prevention and primary care, behavioral health, and dentistry.
DIFFA – DIFFA-KC supports the prevention of HIV and AIDS by funding education and awareness programs in Greater Kansas City.
Good Samaritan Project – The Mission of Good Samaritan Project (GSP) is to provide advocacy, care and education to those affected by HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.
Heartland Men’s Chorus – Heartland Men’s Chorus is Kansas City’s gay men’s chorus, singing out in Kansas City since 1986. The members of HMC have joined together for the purpose of making music as a not-for-profit, volunteer chorus of gay and gay-sensitive people who are making a positive cultural contribution to the entire community.
Kansas City Women’s Chorus – The Chorus is proud of our diverse membership, of those whom are single, married, gay, and straight women. We are mothers, grandmothers, businesswomen, doctors, teachers, technicians, and artists who come in all shapes, sizes, ages and colors. It is our greatest hope that upon experiencing our music, our songs will engage the heart, celebrate the spirit, and enrich the minds of our audiences.
Unicorn Theatre – The Unicorn Theatre exists to enhance the cultural life of Kansas City by producing professional contemporary, thought-provoking theater, which inspires emotional response and stimulates discussion.
Hope Care Center – Kansas City’s only skilled long-term-care nursing facility for persons challenged by HIV and AIDS.
Kansas City Anti-Violence Project – The Kansas City Anti-Violence Project (KCAVP) is a Missouri 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to providing domestic violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes advocacy and education to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
